I am looking for a Moroccan sweet that has the texture of brown sugar.?

I lived in Belgium for a while. I had a friend from Morocco. I was at her home one afternoon, and her family served me some sort of sweet. It was served in a small bowl. It was the color of brown sugar and had a similar texture except it was drier. It was sweet, but not too sweet, but it was very dry. Has anyone heard of this or have a name?I am looking for a Moroccan sweet that has the texture of brown sugar.?
