Can butter be frozen, or does the texture change?

Freezing butter does not change its texture just don't freeze it for more than three months unless you wrap the box in foil first to keep out oders and to prevent freezer burn. I freeze butter all the time - I buy it on sale and freeze it than thaw in the fridge.

I usually keep it in the freezer until I'm ready to use it. If you freeze the sticks of butter, when you're ready to cut it into pastry/biscuits, it works great, because it's already cold/solid enough to hold like it should. Makes very flaky pastry and biscuits! Can butter be frozen, or does the texture change?
Yes butter can be frozen, but not for more than a couple months. And make sure that you put it in the fridge to thaw, or it could just melt every where.
It can be frozen. I always do it and haven't had any changes in texture.
Absolutely and the texture doesn't change at all.
