Texture of homemade baby food for a 7 month old??

Can you describe the sort of texture you puree your food to?? Do you add milk to it to make it smooth?Texture of homemade baby food for a 7 month old??
You don't need to add anything to it--especially not milk. It should be the consistency of hummus or guacamole. It could be runnier if you prefer. If you need to add anything, either add pureed fruits or veggies or a bit of water.Texture of homemade baby food for a 7 month old??
At 7 months, he's not ready for cow's milk. You can use breast milk or formula or clean water.

Consistency: Go to the store and buy 1 jar of stage 2 food for about 54 cents and see what it looks like.
A little bit thinner than guacamole, like applesauce, assuming your baby has been on baby food for a couple of months. And I always pureed mine with breast milk.
If you are still breastfeeding, add some of your milk to the food to make it smooth, you want it to be creamy. If you are not breastfeeding, and some formula.
My son is 8 months old with no teeth and I make his food thick, with a few tiny chunks. I tried making it chunkier but he wouldn't have it. I don't add milk to make it smooth...I use water. That's just a personal preference.
You will want to make it thick, but not chunky.
